Welcome to another month of tag swapping!! I am super excited - can you tell?? Let me just say this, in light of the Halloween season I was going to do a Halloween theme. I decided against it - since everybody else was doing it. So this month's theme will be.....
VINTAGE LOVE/ROMANCE - OPTIONAL CHALLANGE IS TO USE GLIMMER MIST!!
This would be the chance to break out the vintage images, flowers, bling, and all the "valentine" themed stuff. This swap may seem a bit MAY/DECEMBER ..but for some reason the fall reminds me of love. The fresh breeze, the beautiful autumn leaves and the sounds of fall just do that.
Anyway, enough blabbing aboout it - LET'S GET TO IT!! Your tag must include a vintage image - whether it's printed, pasted, hanging or whatever - it just must be incorporated in the tag somehow. If you are participating in the optional challenge - use glimmer mist (or another brand)on the front, the back, on your image or even on your blog info - just use it somewhere. Cool?
For those people that have participated in the last swap, the shipping rules have changed - AGAIN. Make sure you see the details before shipping.

*Tags must include a vintage image and if you're participating in the optional challange - glimmer mist of some kind
*Include your blog/url on the back of your creations - so we can identify whose work it is
*Please back your work with heavy/sturdy cardstock or chipboard
MAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
*Send your work in a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) with a minimum of $4.95 in postage. This could be in the from of cash, stamps or prepaid labels. Either is fine. I am sending priority back to you. I am finding that if you shipped a lighter tag and received heavier ones, I am having to pay all the balances (which adds up).
*All packages must be in my hands no later than..NOVEMBER 15TH.. If you are having a problem with the deadline PLEASE LET ME KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. This is a commitment - others are counting on you!
*Ship your tags in a plastic bag to prevent water damage

August / September Tag Swap **Closed**
We're back at it ladies! Another month of tag making! I know that we are all super excited!
This month's tag swap theme will be BUTTERFLIES AND BLING!! How exciting it that? You can use a butterfly punch, stamp, charm, patterned paper, embellishment, felt, draw or write it..Whatever you choose. So many options!! We all know about the bling! (every girl does)
The OPTIONAL challenge is to make your "tag" a different shape. This still must meet the size reqirements - but can be any shape. Be creative. This is only an option - not a requirement. You can just do the butterfly and bling and still be right on target.
So ladies that's it! I hope that you join me in 'playing with paper'!!

*The swap officially runs from August 21th - September 21st
*Tags must be shipped back to me by September 21st - I will have them back to you shortly after

Tag Swap - July/August
Hello Ladies! Ok here at the details for the July/August tag swap. It will be a little different. We will not have a specific theme! There, I said it. Instead of picking a theme - we will explore who we are as a paper artist. If someone walked up to you and asked you what style of tag art do your prefer, what would you say? Would it be vintage, shabby chic, dimensional, distressed, a mixture of all or something else? Would you use tin, metals, rock candy, stickles or all of them?
I am calling all ladies (well, not all - about 30 or so) to a "my style" tag swap! This should be fun and interesting! The first swap that I hosted (locally) I tried this-everyone enjoyed it. There were so many different styles and techniques done on each of the tags. This is good for newbies and experienced tag makers. Some may teach, some may learn - all will inspire! Plus, it has no boundaries of a theme - so you're free to do whatever makes your heart happy!
The requirements are as follows:
*Sign ups are open until July 14th or when all the spots are filled (whichever is first)
*Tags must be shipped back to me by the August 15th - I will have them back to you shortly after
*Email me with your interest in joining the swap - I will confirm your spot via email the address is scrapdaworld@yahoo.com
