No Purchase Necessary - 3x3 Note Card and Box

Hey all!

Today's post is bitter sweet. Sweet because I'm excited to share this quick and easy project. Bitter because it is my last post as a design team member for Scrapyland. I have thoroughly enjoyed being on the team with such other wonderful crafty ladies. If you haven't done so, please check previous posts by Melanie and Jen. They are SUPER talented and very sweet ladies. Also, I would like to thank Dani Dalfin for the opportunity to be on the team. You were wonderful to work with. I wish you and Scrapyland much success!!

I was in a note card making mood. I have to re-stock my 3x3 note card stash, it was really getting low! So, I decided to pull out the rest my Graphic 45 Typography paper and get to scrapping - literally! I used only the pieces that had been cut apart. I came out with a FULL set of 5 note cards!! Take a look see:

Oh, so cute!! I just made my base and started layering. I put no thought into strategic placement or anything. Just let my creative juice flow. Here they are in more detail:

I even made a little coordinating box to put them in.

I made this from a Stampin Up envelope die. I embellished the front of the box a bit - not too much though. Super Easy! The paper is so vibrant and really ignites my create juices!! Hopefully you'll head over and check it out for yourself :)

This project is a quick, easy and inexpensive way to give a gift to family and friends. Virtually, NO PURCHASE NECESSARY! Just use what you got at home! Have fun!!

Altered Large Clothespin

Hey all!!

I hope you guys are having a fabulous crafty day!! I have been playing with Teresa Collins' Vintage finds paper and I love it! It is one of my favorite collections. It has a cute vintage feel. I love the color scheme. As soon as I saw this paper I had to have it...It is currently out of stock - but check back - the store restocks often.

Now on to my project. (yay) I altered a large clothes pin. I was gifted this by a close friend of mine. I didn't know what I would do with it at the time - but I figured it out. Take a peek:

Here is a closer view:
It's so cute! I first layer the paper with Mono Multi liquid glue - I love this stuff! I did this on the front and back. Then I laid some cream lace from my stash. I added some of my homemade glimmer sprays to some white flowers. I cut out some of the sayings in the paper collection (Life and Blessed) and added them to a Tim Holtz clip.  Finally, I altered a bottle cap, in the same vintage theme and clipped that on the side. Voila! Love how it turned out.

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I do hope you guys will check out Scrapyland to order these great products!!!

Happy Crafty Hugs,
