  Hey all!!


Its time for another swap - Whoo Hoo!! First stop by my YOUTUBE channel and watch the detailed video and sign up there, if you are interested in joining! (You must have a Youtube channel)

 We will be swapping {{Christmas/Winter Themed}} SHAPED GIFT TAGS!! The idea is to have a small stash ready to go when you are ready to send a sweet Christmas or winter package/gift to someone. The possibilities are endless - BE CREATIVE and dive outside your box!!  I created stocking and snowflake tags - as an example.

 Do your best and LET'S ROCK THIS SWAP!!!

1. Sign up for the swap by leaving a comment on THIS video. You must have a youtube channel to join. All are welcome - if you are international - please add arrival time to ensure timeliness.


2. There will be 42 spots (7 groups of 6) AND 5 angel spots open.


3. Create 5 Christmas/Winter themed shaped gift tags, using sturdy paper/light chip board/file folder base..etc


4.  Please make all of your tags the same/similar.


5.  Must embellish the front of the tag with at least 2 embellishments and of course patterned paper. Please do your best work and send something you would be happy to receive.


6.  Must have TO and FROM on the tag - so the recipient can address it themselves


7. Tag sizes can vary - please try to keep them a bit smaller - remember the idea is for this to be attached to a package. We don't want them OVERLY huge :)


8.  Must have an element for the recipient to hang the tag ( seam binding, ribbon, twine..etc)


9. If you want a sentiment on the front - please use something related to Christmas/Winter.


10. Package all of tags individually - in pretty packaging :)


11. PLEASE PUT YOUR NAME AND YOUTUBE NAME ON THE PACKAGES.

12. You can mail your package anyway - as long as it is postmarked by November 1st.


13. All packages will be returned priority - send $5.60 in cash, stamps or Paypal for priority shipping. (if you are international - I'll send your package cheapest way possible)


14. No pre-paid postage - they are dated and the post office will not accept it.

TAG MINI ALBUM WITH BOX

Hey all!!

I have some SUPER excited news and fun stuff today! First, I am starting a new venture. I have had several requests to do in depth tutorials on some of my past projects. While thinking abut that, I've come up with some new ideas too! People who do video's/tutorials know that it can be a long process to record each step, edit..etc.

Shabby Chic Birthday Cake - WIld Orchid Crafts


Hey all!!!!

I have a super cute project to share today. My birthday was Tuesday (August 12th) and In honor of that - wanted to make myself a birthday cake!! I wanted something SUPER Shabby. What better way to shab a project up but than to use flowers!!!

I LOVE how this turned out! I used a Silhouette file I got from the online store. Its called 3D Ruffle Heart box and you can find it here. I just reduced the size as I got to the top. Super fast and easy :)
I used G45 Botanical Tea - LOVE IT! I was gifted to me bu a friend and I am ever so grateful!

Little Blue Button Stamps - Guest Designer Card/Project Share

Hey all!!


I am Super excited to share with you guys some things I created as a guest designer for Little Blue Button Stamps. Olga (the owner) asked if I would be willing to color some of her awesome digital images. I said, of course! The rubber stamps and digital files she has in her store are UBER cute. You guys must see them for yourself!


I will have to work on my coloring, for now…BUT I will be back, Olga (if you’ll have me)!! So to start off, I used Cutie from Kansas – CUTE! Here I placed her on a box I made using the French Country stack by Graphic45. I did re-size her to fit the box that I had. I colored my images using a mix between copic markers and colored pencils. I added stickles to her dress and bow to add a pop of sparkle. The box is filled with handmade sun flowersJ.

The next image I colored was Miss Lilly Tea.  She looks so adorable!! I chose to use Simply Pastel by Recollections. This paper pad was perfect for the image! I made a card using my Silhouette Cameo. It was a background image that I welded together to create this 5x5 card. I layered the card with three different designs from the stack. The layer with the image is on dimensionals. I added some pick flat back pearls from my stash. I colored some white seam binding using Lindy’s Stamp Gang’s Ocean Breeze Blue and attached that to the corner if the card.  I love the color of her  dress and wanted to play on that. . If you look close, there is a tiny banner underneath.  I stamped the words ‘tea time’ and placed it on the card. For the inside I just added a simple floral mat. I finished with stickles to her belt, bow and spoon.  Voila!
For my last card, I used Spring Flower Charlie. She was fun to play with as well.  I created another card with my cutting machine. This particular card has some hearts in the design. I decided to play that up a bit.  I went with Prima’s Something Blue for this card. I chose to use taupe colors for her dress, because I was going to use such vibrant paper to go on the card. I added stickles to her shoes, earrings, belt and flower for that added pop.  I matted her on another patterned paper and ran a zigzag stitch around the edges, I LOVE how it turned out!  I layered the card a couple times and placed her right on top – perfect fit! I cut some flourished form my machine and added those to the card. I added a sentiment from Prima’s Princess collection and a few flat back pearls. I cut out two hearts and applied them to the image. They have a thin coat of glossy accents as well.  Finally, I matted the inside of the card and used the left over heart piece as added element. All done!! Check it out..
