Hello Ladies! Ok here at the details for the July/August tag swap. It will be a little different. We will not have a specific theme! There, I said it. Instead of picking a theme - we will explore who we are as a paper artist. If someone walked up to you and asked you what style of tag art do your prefer, what would you say? Would it be vintage, shabby chic, dimensional, distressed, a mixture of all or something else? Would you use tin, metals, rock candy, stickles or all of them?
I am calling all ladies (well, not all - about 30 or so) to a "my style" tag swap! This should be fun and interesting! The first swap that I hosted (locally) I tried this-everyone enjoyed it. There were so many different styles and techniques done on each of the tags. This is good for newbies and experienced tag makers. Some may teach, some may learn - all will inspire! Plus, it has no boundaries of a theme - so you're free to do whatever makes your heart happy!
The requirements are as follows:
*Sign ups are open until July 14th or when all the spots are filled (whichever is first)
*Tags must be shipped back to me by the August 15th - I will have them back to you shortly after
*Email me with your interest in joining the swap - I will confirm your spot via email the address is scrapdaworld@yahoo.com
*Once confirmed - I will follow up with the group list and number of tags you will have to make (no more than 8 per group)
*Tag shape is artists' choice
*Tag size must at least be standard size 4 3/4 " x 2 3/8 "
*Make all of the tags as identical as possible
*Tags must include AT LEAST one embellishment (charm, flower, button etc.)
*Include your blog/url on the back of your creations - so we can identify whose work it is
*Please back your work with heavy/sturdy cardstock or chipboard
MAILING INSTRUCTIONS:
*Send your work in a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) with AT LEAST the same amount of postage it took to mail it. (at this time - only U.S. swappers)
*All packages must be in my hands no later than...August 15th.. If you are having a problem with the deadline please let me know as soon as possible
*Ship your tags in a plastic bag to prevent water damage
