I'm back with more awesomeness from The Cutting Café! This week's design team project were to use any of these files - The Camera Photo Shaped Holder or Polaroid and Camera Fun - Both files were AWESOME!! I did a video on these projects if you want to see it "in person". You can view that on my YouTube channel.
I chose to concentrate mainly on the Polaroid files - they so ROCKED! First I made a gift card holder using the coin envelope file. I cut the file out in velum - to make it fun. Then I added an insert using the postage file to adhere my gift card to. I used the sentiments form the collection the front and added a few embellishments - and Voila! Easy peasy - take a look:
Cool, huh? The next thing I made was a CUTE photo frame. I took the polaroid file and cut it out using light weight chipboard 3 times. I adhered all of them together and then added designer paper to that to complete the look. I sprayed and stickled some flowers from my stash with various colors to make them coordinate. Just a few more little embellishments(lace, stick pin and rosette) and here we go..Take a peek:
Love it!! The last thing I created - Im so excited about!! I made (from scratch) a box and mini album!! It turned out exactly how I pictured it in my head!! I used medium weight chipboard to make my mini album. I used the square box with dividers file from The Cutting Café to create the box. I added extra paper to the corners and bottom to made it more sturdy. I printed the film strip out from the collection on velum (love this stuff) to curl on top of my box. I took some of the smaller polaroids to 'hang' on the box and added clothespins to hold them together. I love how these turned out! What do you think?
CaaUUTE! That's all I have to share for now - I'll be back with a few pics of the inside of the mini..but you can check out all of the projects on my YouTube channel.
Be sure to check out The Cutting Café for this weeks challenge/giveaway!! Regina will pick a winner to receive 3 files from her store..Be sure to enter!!
