Say Cheese!!

 Hello all you blog lovers!!

I am excited to share with you my best 'labor of love' project! I call it this because I have included 20 handmade flowers on this!! Yes, 20! I loved every minute of it - but my hand didn't, lol! I used an awesome paper stack called Say Cheese by simple stories. I had never seen this paper stack before. I found both the 6x6 paper pad and the 12x12 Basic Paper kit at Scrapyland. I dove right into these fabulous colors!! Take a peek at all the flower luscious-ness:

LOVE IT!!! The mini album is 6 1/2 by 5. I used black sturdy card stock for the 5 pages. This album can hold 20 4x6 photos!! What? Yes! For the cover I did a lot of texture - both in black and white. I used a dotted stencil and a grid like stencil. If you enter Memory Box stencil in the search engine on the site you will find plenty of inexpensive options! I added some black twine and a filigree from my stash.  To add some final touches, I covered the flowers with a bit of gesso and a small amount of glitter! Two simple statements title the album - Enjoy and Treasure are placed. Voila! Here are some more pics for you:

The inside first page I dressed a bit. I just wanted a brief introduction to our vacation event. This file folder opens/closes via magnet. In it will house a family picture and some details of the trip. After that is just free space to add pictures!! The inserts I covered with the Say Cheese 12x12 kit Collection and stamped some images to give it flare. I really like how it turned out. Its both pretty to look at and functional! The best of both worlds!!

Hopefully, you guys will check out this collection and more at Scrapyland! Also, if you interested in following me, you can find me here:
