Memories are Meant to be Made

Hey All!!

OMG! Today I have a SUPER cute altered box to share with you guys. I LOVE how this turned out! I used an epoxy sticker that reads "Memories are Meant to be Made Not Forgotten". I am creating this box for a dear friend of mine. She is such a supportive and giving person.  I hope she likes it :) I wanted to overload it with flowers (because I love them), so I did. Take a peek:

 

I used the Glitz Designs Love you madly 8x8 paper pad. LOVE this paper!! I first laid two coats of gesso on my box and then layer the paper all around. I cut the paper 1/4" smaller than the space. I like the borders it creates. Here's another picture:

 

I used my glue pen again to adhere the tiny papers - gosh I love it! The grey patterned paper I chose worked perfectly with the grey pearl beads I used around the box. So Cute!

I added the sentiment and a TON of flowers! I used some of the gesso and stickles to finish it off.

 

As a little extra bonus, I'm sending some coordinating lace and trims. I added more of the patterned to a 5.5 x 5.5 piece of chipboard to create a beautiful background for the trims. Turned out cute! Here is the complete set:
